About:
W. Canadian author, lecturer, curriculum designer and artist, Fisher has been writing and publishing for 50 years. He has written for academic journals, magazines, and 16 non-fiction books. His scholarly works include philosophy, pedagogy, and critical cultural analysis. He is founder of the In Search of Fearlessness Research Institute, and currently works as an education consultant and human resource consultant for daycares and schools. He has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and an MA in Adult Education. His Youtube channel “R. Michael Fisher” has his latest lectures on many topics. He currently publishes with Peter Lang, Routledge and Information Age Publishing, as well as some smaller presses. He lives in Nanaimo, BC with his life-partner Barbara Bickel
