Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island

Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island – Qualicum Edition
This book covers the Qualicum area and with the sale of each book, $5 goes towards the District 69 Backpack Program that supports families in need getting food for the weekend. Since this summer $1000 has been donated to this 100% volunteer-run program!
The first 400 books of this edition supported Mamas for Mamas Nanaimo, giving them 100% of profits, so $4000 in donations were given.

Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island – Nanoose Bay & Lantzville Edition
This edition covers the Nanoose Bay & Lantzville areas and supports the Surf Rider Foundation, Pacific Rim Chapter. $5 from the sale of each book supports their important work. So far I have sold over 3 book books and have donated $1500 dollars to them.

Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island – Coombs, Parksville & Errington Edition
This is my newest edition covering the Arrowsmith region. I am proud to support the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre with $5 from the sale of each book supporting their non-profit animal rehabilitation facility. Just launched in July this book has sold over 250 copies and has donated $1000 to the NIWRA Organization.

Ashley is based in Nanoose Bay.

Synopsis:

I have written and illustrated three books in the Little Adventurers Series about getting outside and enjoying our beautiful island. I created the scavenger hunts with help from my daughter Claire. Each location has an illustrated colouring page for you to colour, doodle or shade in. When you are out exploring, please respect nature, stay on the trails and be safe. These adventures are meant to introduce you to new and exciting places, please be aware of the potential dangers that come with exploring outside. Getting outside and exploring this incredible island I call home is my favourite thing to do with my family and friends. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed creating it for you. How the books work: Put in the coordinates given, go to the location, read about the area and then complete the scavenger hunt! Areas so far are 1) Qualicum Beach (2) Nanoose & Lantzville (3) Parksville, Coombs & Errington. Book 4 will be in the Nanaimo area which is coming out in Spring 2024!
